This Privacy Policy applies to the Institute Learner mobile application (the "App") developed by SkillTapPro ("we," "us," or "our"). We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users ("Students" and "Institute Admins"). This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your information.

1. Information We Collect

To provide our educational services, we collect minimal personal information necessary for the App's functionality:

• Account Information: When you register, we collect your Email Address and a password. This is used strictly for authentication and account management via Google Firebase.
• Institute Data: We store the "Center Code" you enter to link your profile to your specific educational institute.
• Usage Data: We may collect anonymous crash logs and performance data to improve App stability.
• Contact Information: Institute Admins may optionally provide phone numbers or WhatsApp links, which are stored to facilitate student communication.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

• To authenticate your identity and allow secure login.
• To customize the App interface with your Institute's branding and specific educational content.
• To manage subscription validity (e.g., checking expiry dates).
• To facilitate communication between the Student and their respective Institute via direct links (Call/WhatsApp).

3. Third-Party Services

We utilize trusted third-party services to operate the App. These parties have their own privacy policies governing the use of data:

• Google Firebase: Used for Authentication, Database (Firestore), and Analytics. Read Firebase Privacy Policy.
• WebView Content: The App may display educational content (videos, exams, courses) hosted on third-party websites (e.g., YouTube, Institute Portals). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

Retention: Student accounts are retained for the duration of their course subscription or until the Institute Admin removes them.

Deletion Rights: You have the right to request the deletion of your account and personal data. To do so, please contact your Institute Administrator or email us at the address below. Upon request, we will remove your account from our Firebase database within 30 days.

5. Permissions

The App may request the following permissions on your device:

• Internet: Required to fetch course content and login.
• Phone/Dialer: Required only if you click the "Call" button to contact your institute.

6. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for educational purposes. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent obtained by the educational institute.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
